Building on Success:  Investing in the Future of Valley Heights Students

The generosity of our communities has made a lasting impact on the students of USD 498 Valley Heights.  Thanks to the incredible support received during last year's BRCF match day, along with additional contributions from generous donors and community partners, we were able to complete nearly $390k in improvements to our high school gymnasium.   

These enhancements have transformed one of the district's most utilized spaces and will benefit students, staff, and community members for years to come.  Improvements included:

New Bleachers

Refinishing and sanding the gym floor

New basketball goals and Volleyball system

New Sound System

These upgrades have significantly improved the experience for athletic competitions, concerts, graduation ceremonies, and the many community events hosted in our gym throughout the year.  We are incredibly grateful to everyone who contributed and helped make this vision a reality.

As we look ahead, we are excited to announce that this year's BRCF match day project will focus on upgradin our high school science laboratories and Family and Consumer Science Room.  

These learning spaced play a critical role in preparing students for college, careers, and life beyond graduation.  Modern science labs provide students with hands-on opportunities to explore biology, chemistry, physics, and other STEM fields using updated equipment and technology.  Likewise, an enhanced FACS classroom will better prepare students with practical life skills while supporting coursework in nutrition, culinary arts, child development, financial literacy, and career exploration.

Our goal is to create learning environments that inspire curiousity, encourage innovation, and equip student with the skills they need to succeed in an ever-changing world.  By investing in these classrooms, we are investing directly in the future of our students and our community.  

We invite you to once again partner with Valley Heights during this year's BRCF match day.  Every gift-large or small- helps provide opportunties that would not otherwise be possible through the district's regular budget.
