Blue Rapids Rec Board Fund

Goal: $15,000.00

Specific Need

The City of Blue Rapids Parks and Recreation Board was created in 2026 with the goal to provide its citizens with the best parks and rec facilities and opportunites possible. The board has decided to prioritize three projects for fund raising. The board has a broad range of activities in its vision to include but not limited to baseball, softball, basketball, pickleball, disc golf, and walking trails. 

1. Creating a sand volleyball court, estimated cost $10,000.

2. Assiting with the construction of a walking trail from the playground equipment through the ballfields, estimated cost $45,000. 

3. Replacing the ballfield lights on the west field, estimated at $60,000.

The Blue Rapids Parks and Recreation Board's vision is to provide the citizens with the best facilities and opportunities possible. We specifically focus on developing our cities youth and assisting with our senior's health and wellness.
