Blue Rapids Community Foundation was established in August 2018 to create a permanent source of community capital benefitting the residents of Blue Rapids and Marshall County in perpetuity.   It allows nonprofit agencies to build endowments within the Blue Rapids Community Foundation.

This results in reduced overhead and administrative costs - Blue Rapids Community Foundation handles all gift processing, record keeping, tax reporting and administrative services.

Professional investment management of the endowment  is provided by the Greater Manhattan Community Foundation of which Blue Rapids Community Foundation is a member.

Blue Rapids Community Foundation provides an online service for nonprofit agency partners.  They can view fund balances as well as grant and gift transactions, with information updated daily.
