Through God, all things are possible. He has shown us his mercy and love and we strive to do the same for our community. 

Mission

Our Vision Statement: The United Methodist Church of Blue Rapids, with Jesus Christ as our example, will reach out to children, youth, and adults in the community to provide for their spiritual, physical, and emotional needs. 

Our Mission Statement:  Make disciples of Jesus Christ by loving, worshipping, and serving.

Profile

The United Methodist Church of Blue Rapids has an excellent worship series covering multiple topics and different perspectives. We have scripture based worship on Sunday mornings and during Christmas and Easter we hold evening worship.

We host Community wide Youth Fellowship, Women's Bible Study, Multi-Denominational Vacation Bible School, Community wide Men's group, Women of Faith, and provide Church services at the Blue Valley Nursing Home.

Some of our community outreach activities include: back to school blessing bags and lunches for the teachers, hosting homecoming and 5th quarter meals and activities for Valley Heights; hosting community potato day dinner, soup supper, Women of Faith salad supper, and First Responder recognition dinner; provide Christmas cheer plates; provide meals for funerals and those in need; provide food for the church stand at the Marshall County fair; and pass out water bottles at the Marshall County Fair parade. 

We also serve the members of the community by contributing to: Community food pantry; Good Samaritan fund; City utility fund; Brothers in Blue; Teacher fund; Christmas assistance for families; Community blessing box; Big Brothers Big Sister program; and Schools that Care.

TheUnited Methodist Church of  Blue Rapids is known as the Community Church. We have made it our mission to serve, demonstrating the love of Christ through our deeds.
